The facility at Apex Pre-School is purposefully designed to create a welcoming environment for children and families, promoting indoor-outdoor learning and encouraging interaction . The playground is crafted with the natural environment in mind, fostering exploration and investigation, including a large sandpit, teepee, vegetable growing patches, swings, slides, and a flying fox
Our Vision
Our vision is to see every child develop a strong sense of identity, wellbeing, and connection to their community. We strive to create confident and involved learners who are effective communicators, fully supported by the Victorian Early Years Learning Developmental Framework . Our curriculum is intentionally planned to meet children’s individual needs and interests, fostering key dispositions for learning such as curiosity, cooperation, confidence, and resilience
Goals and Objectives
A primary goal is to ensure children are confident and involved Learners (Outcome 4). We encourage dispositions like curiosity, cooperation, creativity, and persistence . Finally, we help children become effective Communicators (Outcome 5), teaching them to interact with others, engage with texts, express ideas through various media, and use technology to investigate their thinking
